Product Introduction

Cryogenic globe valve is the valve that moves the closure (valve) along the centerline of the seat. Depending on the form of movement of the flap, the change in the seat opening is proportional to the flap travel. Due to the relatively short opening or closing stroke of the valve stem of this type of valve, and the very reliable cutting function, and because the change of the valve seat opening is proportional to the stroke of the valve flap, it is very suitable for the adjustment of the flow rate. Therefore, this type of valve is ideal for use as a cut-off or adjustment and throttling

How it works:

The stem axis of the cryogenic globe valve is perpendicular to the seat sealing surface. The valve stem opening or closing stroke is relatively short. Once the low temperature shut-off valve is in the open state, there is no contact between the valve seat and the valve sealing surface, so its sealing surface is less mechanically worn, due to most of the shut-off valves. The valve seat and disc are easier to repair or replace the sealing element without removing the entire valve from the line, which is suitable for welding valves and lines. The flow direction of the medium as it passes through such a valve changes, so the flow resistance of the shut-off valve is higher than other valves.
